Well I Really Liked this movie because it taught me alot that you can be what ever you want if you try hard for it.The summary of the story is that Jaime Escalante/Teacher he wanted to teach a school/Garfield High School to make and help people succeed and that way he would get a better job.He started the class but almost no one use to talk Spanish and some of them they use to talk English so he use to talk English and Spanish at the same time.He was a dedicated teacher inspires his dropout prone students to learn calculus to build up their self and do so well that they are accused of cheating.Edward James Olmos Know As Jaime Scalante In The Movie "Stand And Deliver" 24 February 1947 East Los Angeles, California, USA.Edward Olmos

Leaving a steady job for a position as a math teacher in a school where teachers that were  more focused on discipline than academics, Escalante is at first not well liked by students, receiving numerous threats by the students.Later on when they were goin to take the AP Calculus They started a math program requires that students take summer classes, including Saturdays from 7:00 AM to noon,because they use to have minds of 3rd and 5th graters. After receiving their scores, they are overwhelmed with emotion to find that they have all passed, a feat done by few in the state.

Later that summer a shocking accusation is made: the Educational Testing Service calls into question the validity of their scores when it is discovered that similarities between errors is too high for pure chance. Outraged by the implications of cheating.Escalante Talked to ETS and he when and say that there student never chetted.In order to prove their mathematical abilities and worth to the school, to the ETS, and to the nation, the students agree to retake the test at the end of the summer, months after their last class. The students are given only one day to prepare and Escalante gravely tells them that the test will be harder than the first.
