oil spill

it's oil.We use it everyday.We also use petrolium products like these;those plastic cups,the asphalt most of us drive on,and common plastic forks....And thats not mentioning one of the biggest oil products of all that everyone uses.Gasoline.The price is in the oil washed up onto the beach in the UK.Each day in may during the exxon-Valdez disaster 100,000 birds migrated to the area.Birtds flying overheard dived into the oil ,maybe thinking its alot of fishes.Many oiled birds were rescued,some die from the stress of captiby and some dived back to the waiting oil after being released.All of us contribute because all of us need the our petrolium products,but is it really our fault?can we be blamed because we need gas to run our cars and sphalt to make road trips smoother?NO!!!!!..is not our fault because even though oil spills are an everyday thinkin the oil industrie,they are almost completely preventable,specially the one on such as large scale as the exxon-Valdez and the prestige.And even when a spill inevitebly happens,they are way to stop it.so dont turn this to another "END OF THE WORLD"thing.Oil is part of our lifes,we dont need to stop usining we need to demand the safer transport of oil,we need to keep the cleaning equipment close at hand,and we need to keep people trained ,alert,and ready, so that when this spills do happen they don't end so terribly for all involved.
